It’s Testicular Cancer Awareness Month and we’re giving away free Mac and Cheese Balls to everyone who checks themselves (or encourages someone else to) during April.
Testicular cancer affects 2,500 men in the UK each year, and during the pandemic missed screenings have resulted in cancers going undetected.
So, we’ve partnered with Testicular Cancer UK to create a handy guide for how to give The Boys a proper squeeze, which you’ll find on our burger wraps all month. Happy rummaging!
How to Check Yourself
Use this four-step guide, illustrated by the brilliant Josh McKenna, as a reference for how to conduct your investigation. If you find anything unusual, speak to your GP.
STEP 1: Get your balls hot and steamy in the shower
STEP 2: Roll one ball between thumb and fingers to check for lumps, swelling or changes in size and shape
STEP 3: Repeat for the other ball
STEP 4: Squeeze monthly to check for any signs of change.
How to Claim Your Free Balls
Simply add Mac & Squeeze Balls to your basket when ordering for Collection.
If you’ve bagged one of our outdoor tables after April 12th, call your server over, look them dead in the eye and declare: “Mac & Squeeze Please.” They’ll do the rest.
Our Charity Partner
Testicular Cancer UK was founded in 2003 by Phil Morris and is run by survivors. It raises awareness of testicular cancer and offers round-the-clock support to those affected by it.
Spread the Word
When your squeezing’s done, get involved with the #ICheckedMyBalls hashtag on Instagram and search “I Checked My Balls” to find our special Instagram Stories sticker.
